Milk rice with chicken curry or even a simple spicy lunu miris is the ultimate food combination for any Sri Lankan!
Learn how to make this traditional Sri Lankan dish with Aunty D!
Ingredients:
White Raw Rice 2 cups
Water 2 cups
Sera Coconut Milk 1 ½ cups
Sera Salt 1 ½ tsp
Method:
Add 2 cups of washed and rinsed white rice, along with 2 cups of water into a saucepan.
Switch on the stove, cover it with a lid and let it cook.
Once most of the water has been reduced, check the rice to avoid overcooking and reduce heat if necessary.
Close the lid again and wait until it is mostly cooked.
Give the rice a mix to avoid it from sticking to the bottom.
Finally, switch off the stove and add the Sera Coconut Milk and Sera salt.
Mix it all together to combine and enjoy!
