You’ll be going in for seconds to indulge in these heavenly Red Velvet Cupcakes.
Here’s how you can make them this Valentine’s Day!
Ingredients:
Sugar 125 g
Egg 2 nos
Melted Butter 1 cup
Cocoa Powder 8 g
Red Food Colouring 1 tsp
Sour Cream 1 tbsp
Flour 125 g
Vinegar 1 ½ tsp
Baking Soda ⅓ tsp
Method:
Preheat the oven to 160°C for 10 minutes.
Start by adding sugar, eggs and butter to a bowl and whisk to combine.
Next, add cocoa powder, red food colouring and sour cream, and whisk again.
Add in the flour and gently fold until the batter turns smooth.
Combine vinegar with baking soda, add it to the batter and mix well.
Add scoops of the batter to cupcake liners lined on a cupcake tray and bake them at 160°C for 12 minutes.
Finally, top them off with some cream cheese frosting and chocolate, and enjoy!
